Embarrassment
In my experience, there are a lot of embarrassing events happened to me. One of them happened three years ago while I was in Saudi Arabia and it is the one that I will never forget. As most of you guys know that in Saudi Arabia the women should cover their face when they saw someone not from their family. So one time as usual I went to my home I had the key and I opened the door and entered the home without knowing that my mother's friends were there. So I opened and I entered the living room to say hi to my mom and then...... oh my god.......... (Crash)hehe. I saw a lot of women in the living room without covering their face.....oh my god.......then all of them start screaming and shouting who is this person. My face turn reeeeeeeeeed and I went outside the home very quickly. I didn't know what to do or what to say. Just it was so embarrassing situation for me. Of course if this happened here in Canada it is not a problem but in Saudi Arabia no way. Anyway nowadays my parents took the house key from me so I should ring the bell before entering the home. This is mine so tell me what do you think about it??!!
Research Projects
Oh finally, finished this project. Actually I thought that I chose a easy topic and I will find a lot of information but when I started searching I didn't find that much so I chose a bigger idea. Actually even though this project causes a lot of stress but I enjoyed it I don't why. maybe because I read a lot of thing that I never heard about it before I learned a lot but now I feel so much happy because most of the stress gone but still we have the finial.

Population
1-How many children did your grandparents have? What about your parents? How many children do you (want to) have?
My grandparents from my mother side have 5 children (2 uncles + 3 aunts) and my grandparents from my father side only 2 children (2 boys) that was because the war and they had to move out from Palatine to Lebanon and then to Saudi Arabia. My parents have 4 children including me (2 boys+2 girls) so 2 teams ha-ha. Personally I would like to have 2 kids a boy and a girl it is enough.
2-What is the population of your country? What impact does the population have on the quality of life there?
The population in Saudi Arabia has increased up to 27.5 million. I thinks it is a big country and it can take more people, however I thinks when the population is increasing the people are spreading outside the city which is mean that they are extending the city. I think the quality of life is ok but the quality of environment is going bad because in Saudi Arabia each male member in a family should at least have 1 to 2 cars. I believe this is causing a lot of pollutions and so it is destroying the environment.
3-Has there been a significant population shift in your country from rural areas to urban areas? If yes, what are the consequences?
I think nowadays more and more people prefer to go to live in the farther places in the city in order to go away from the crowed. So that is mean they are city are extending more and more every year

Questionnaire test (Scott)
1-Do you think these data collection techniques are valid? Why or Why not?
I think it is not valid at all. Actually I got a low mark and it shows me that in the future I will have the fun. On one side maybe I am so worry about my study but on the other side I have many great and happy things on another time. But also I took it as an advice for me.
2-Would your results be different if you took the on-line questionnaire at a different time, on a different day? Why or why not?
I think my results almost will be the same if I took it in another place or in another time. Basically the reason of that is my answer will be the same or similar.
3-Are either or both of these data collection tools better suited to do with an individual or with lots of people? Why or why not?
In my opinion, there are 2 sides the first one is that we can do it individually so if someone don't want to show the results for other it will be convenient for him/her. The other side which I support that it is better to do it with group of people because we can find the results faster and easier.

I completely agree that women speak more than men. We can see that in our daily life. For example if you just go to Second Cup the one in the FB and look at the men you will find them surfing the internet or thinking about something but you will see almost all the women are talk talk talk.
2. Males and females can use the same words or expressions but they have different meanings.
Yes I think it is happen a lot with women because of the way that they try to express their feeling could understood sometimes in another way.

Language Learner
First of all, I am sorry Sherry because I did this homework late.
From my experience I found that the best time to learn a second language is when we are children. As we know English is becoming a very important language in the world. It is important in business and at the same time it is important because most of the research and the technology that we have today are in English. I have started to learn English which is a second language for me only 7 years ago when I was in intermediate school. I think because of the wrong education system that in my country last year when first I came here to Canada I found very difficult time when I was tiring to communicate with the native speakers. But it takes from me only a few weeks after that my English was improving very quickly and I could escape from level 3 to level 5 in our English language program. I done all of that after practicing and learn from my mistakes. now in Saudi Arabia finally they opened what is called international schools which is teaching 3 different languages Arabic, English and French at the same time they teach by a new ways that makes the students love to learn more languages. My younger brother (7 years old) and sister (5 years old) attend this kind of school and I think they know English better than me....hehehe.......
